- 3 floury potatoes
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 shallot or onion
- 1,5 liter vegetable stock
- knob of butter
- pepper and salt to taste
- 100 ml cream
- handful of grated cheese of your choice
- optional: croutons for serving
