Ingredients

• 3 cups flour
• 1 tsp baking powder

• 1 tsp salt
• 1/4 cup lemon zest (3-4 lemons)
• 1 3/4 cups sugar
• 1 Cup butter - softened
• 4 eggs - room temperature
• 1/2 tsp vanilla
• 3/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
• 3/4 cup sour cream or buttermilk
• 3 T poppy seeds
