Ingredients

• 2 (21 oz) cans cherry pie filling
• 1⁄2 cup light brown sugar
• 2 tbsp maple syrup
• 1 tsp vanilla
• pinch of salts
• 11⁄2 cups self-rising flour
• 2 tbsp granulated sugar
• 11⁄4 cups heavy whipping cream
• 2 tbsp butter, unsalted, melted
• 1 tbsp turbinado sugar
• non-stick spray, for greasing pan
• vanilla ice cream, for serving
