VEGETABLE BEEF SOUP

Ingredients

• 1 pound ground beef
• 1 Cup chopped white onion
• 2 tablespoons butter
• 4 Cups hot water
• 1 can (16 oz.) stewed tomatoes
• 1 Cup sliced celery
• 1 Tablespoon salt
• 3 - 4 beef bouillon cubes
• 1 bay leaf
• 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
• 1/8 teaspoon pepper
• 1 package 10 oz. mix vegetables
• 1 package vegetables for soup
• 2 cups egg bow tie noodles
• 1/2 teaspoon thyme
