Cottage Pie - aninas recipes

Ingredients

• 15 ml olive oil
• 2 cloves garlic (peeled and minced)
• 1 birds eye chili (chopped fine)
• 1 onion (peeled and finely chopped)
• 500 gr lean beef mince
• 3/4 cup water
• salt and black pepper (to season)
• spice for mince (to season)
• 1/2 cup fruit chutney
• 1/2 cup tomato puree
• 1/2 packet instant brown onion soup
• 1 cup corn (whole kernels)
• 1 cup peas
• 2 carrots (peeled and sliced)
• 4 potatoes (peeled and chopped into small cubes)
• water (to cook potatoes)
• salt and black pepper (to season potatoes)
• 2 tablespoons butter
• 1/2 cup milk
• 2 cups cheddar cheese (grated)
