I love cabbage in any form but I really like this recipe. My grandmother used to make this so it brings back good memories. It is awesome served with brats.
Ingredients
- 3 - slices bacon, diced
- 1/2 - onion,chopped
- 1/2 - head of red cabbage sliced thin
- 1 medium apple cored, pared and diced
- 1 tablespoon(s) lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon(s) brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon(s) vinegar
- 1/3 cup(s) red wine or red wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon(s) caraway seeds
