- 3/4 cup (170g) unsalted butter, room temperature
- Zest of 2 medium lemons
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 1 teaspoon pure lemon extract
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanila extract
- 1 cup (227g) sour cream, room temperature
- 12 cherries with stems for garnish (optional)
- 3/4 cup (90g) powdered sugar, sifted
- 1 tablespoon reserved cherry juice
- 1 tablespoon heavy cream
- 1-2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
