Ingredients

• 500 grams brown lentils
• 3 garlic cloves, peeled
• 1 teaspoon table salt
• 3.5 litres water
• 1 teaspoon olive oil
• 150 grams stricky rashers, chopped
• 1 onion, finely chopped
• 1 red chili, finely chopped
• 60 grams good quality ham, chopped
• 8 jumbo frankfurters, sliced
• 350 grams tomatoes, chopped
• Salt and pepper to taste
• Bunch of fresh coriander, roughly chopped
