Steak Hoagies with Giardiniera

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 - 2 pounds thinly sliced eye of round beef steak (Any thin strip steak should work and it does not have to an expensive cut of meat!)
• 2 cubes Knorr beef bouillon
• dash of pepper
• 1 diced onion
• 1 diced sweet green pepper
• Water to cover the steak
• 3 stalks celery chopped finely
• 1 onion chopped
• 1/4 cup chopped banana peppers
• 1/4 cup chopped olives
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• 1 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 cup vinegar
