Spicy Asian beef

Ingredients

• 700g roasting beef (cut into chunks and all visible fat removed)
• 1 tbsp cornstarch
• 1 tsp sesame oil
• 1 onion, roughly chopped
• 4 spring onions, chopped
• 3 cloves of garlic, crushed
• 1 red chilli, finely chopped
• 1 green pepper, roughly chopped
• 200g mushrooms, sliced
• 1 tbsp freshly grated ginger
• 4-5 tbsp dark soy sauce
• 4 tbsp light soy sauce
• 3 tbsp of rice vinegar
• 135ml water
• 1 tsp sugar
• Black pepper to season
• Some freshly chopped spring onion to decorate
• Stir fried vegetables and jasmine rice, to serve
