Mary Ann's Beef Isombe
Mary Ann's Beef Isombe recipe: This is a take on the traditional Rwandan Isombe. I omit the ground nuts which in my opinion makes it taste perfect.
Ingredients
- 14 packs frozen cassava imported from philippines (sweet variety)
- .5 lbs. oxtail cut
- 2 lbs. chuck roast cubed
- 2 large cubes Beef bouillon cube any brand
- 14 oz palm oil
- 1 large onion minced
- 5 cloves garlic minced
- 2 large cans sardines in tomato sauce
