• 1 1/2 cups (375 mL) icing sugar, sifted

• 1/2 tsp (2 mL) ground allspice
• 1/2 tsp (2 mL) ground nutmeg
• 12 egg whites, at room temperature
• 1 1/2 tsp (7 mL) cream of tartar
• 1 cup (250 mL) granulated sugar
• 1 tbsp (15 mL) vanilla extract, divided
• 1/4 tsp (1 mL) salt
• 1/3 cup (75 mL) brown sugar
• 1 cup (250 mL) HEWITT'S - 35% whipping cream
• 2 cups (500 mL) strawberries
• 1 cup (250 mL) blueberries
