Ingredients

• 4 tbsp canola, sunflower, or vegetable oil
• 2 md yellow onions, diced
• 1 ½ tsp crushed ginger
• 1 ½ tsp crushed garlic
• 1 sm bird’s eye chili, diced
• 1 lb ground beef
• 1 ¼ tsp salt or to taste
• ¾ tsp black pepper
• 6 ripe Roma tomatoes, crushed
• 2 tbsp tomato paste
• 1 tsp red chile flakes
• ½ tsp oregano
• 12 oz spaghetti
• Ketchup (to taste)
