SPICED BEEF HOT POT - Your Recipe Blog

• 1 kg lean beef chuck, trimmed and cut into 1 ½” pieces

• 4 medium carrots, cut into pieces
• 1 medium onion, sliced
• 1 punnet of mushrooms
• 2 small packets of baby corn
• rounded ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
• ¼ teaspoon ground allspice
• 2 bay leaves
• 2 tablespoons tomato paste
• 2 tablespoons Maizena
• ½ cup beef stock
• 400 g can diced tomatoes
• 3 large potatoes, peeled and sliced ⅓” thick
• 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
• chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley, for serving
