Pork and Apple

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 lb (675 g) lean ground pork
• 1 1/2 cups (375 ml) peeled and grated McIntosh apples (about 3 apples)
• 1/2 cup (125 ml) breadcrumbs
• 1 tablespoon (15 ml) chili powder
• 1 teaspoon (5 ml) dry mustard
• 1 teaspoon (5 ml) Worcestershire sauce
• 7 slices bacon, approximately
• 2 tablespoons (30 ml) apple jelly, melted
• Homemade or store-bought applesauce, to taste
• Salt and pepper
