EASY choc-orange cake made entirely in a food processor! Finely chopped orange rind adds unique flavor, optional orange flower water elevates taste. Perfect for special occasions or everyday treats.
Ingredients
- Place all the ingredients in the bowl of a food processor and process using the pulse button for about 1 minute or until the mixture starts to form a dough – be careful not to over mix.
- Preheat the oven to 160°C/315°F (140°C/285°F fan-forced). Line two oven trays with non-stick baking paper.
- Unwrap the biscuit dough, slice into 1cm-thick rounds and place on the baking trays about 3cm/1¼in apart to allow for spreading. Sprinkle each biscuit with a little extra citrus zest if using.
- Bake immediately in preheated oven for 25 minutes, swapping the trays halfway through baking, or until pale golden and cooked through. Remove from the oven and cool on the trays.
