Ingredients

• 1 gallon green tomatoes, ground
• 1/2 cup salt
• 1 small head cabbage
• 3 onions
• 2 quarts chopped apples
• 2 small red hot peppers
• 3 pints vinegar
• 1 Tablespoon allspice
• 1 teaspoon celery seed
• 2 lbs. brown sugar
• 1 teaspoon ground cloves
• 1 teaspoon turmeric
