• 1 28 oz can best quality tomatoes
• 4 cloves garlic
• 2 shallots
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 2 carrots, diced
• 2 stalks celery, diced
• 1 zucchini, diced
• 3 jalapeños, seeded and diced
• 1 potato, peeled and diced
• 1/4 c cilantro, chopped
• 1/4 c parsley, chopped
• 3 tbsp red lentils
• 1 quart trader joe's free range chicken stock
• Salt and pepper
