• 1 onion, chopped
• 400 g tin chopped tomatoes
• 2 tbsp Garlic Italian
• 2 tbsp tomato purée
• 1 tsp sugar
• 150 ml (¼ pint) vegetable stock or water
• 100 g (4 oz) pitted black olives, halved
• 100 g (4 oz) sun-dried tomatoes in olive oil, drained and sliced
• 450 g (1 lb) fresh pappardelle or tagliatelle
• 50 g (2 oz) Parmesan cheese, grated
