Banana and macadamia cake with butterscotch sauce recipe

Ingredients

• 2 cup (300g) self-raising flour
• 1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
• 1 teaspoon mixed spice
• 150 gram butter, softened
• 1 cup (200g) firmly packed brown sugar
• 3 eggs
• 1 1/2 cup mashed over-ripe banana
• 1/3 cup (80g) sour cream
• 1/3 cup (80ml) milk
• 1/2 cup (70g) coarsely chopped toasted macadamias
• 2 tablespoon finely chopped glace ginger
• Butterscotch Sauce
• 250 millilitre thickened cream
• 125 gram butter, chopped
