• 4 tsp salt
• 1 cup red wine
• 4 Tbsp olive oil
• 1 bottle Guinness
• 2 lbs beef chuck or stew meat
• 4 cups beef stock
• 2 Tbsp tomato paste
• 1 Tbsp died thyme
• 2 cups carrots
• 6 cloves garlic
