• 6 medium lemons, skinned, cut into small cubes
• 2 tsp fenugreek seeds
• 1 tsp fennel seeds
• 2 tbsp chili powder
• ½ tsp turmeric powder
• ½ tsp asafetida
• 1 cup vegetable or mustard oil
• 1 tbsp mustard seeds
• pinch of sugar
