Batter Up Fondue

Ingredients

• 1 package of Fairbury Brand Hot dogs
• 2 sticks of butter
• 2 cups of vegetable oil
• 1 1/3 cups of pancake mix
• ½ cup of milk
• 1 egg
• Cut Fairbury Brand Hot Dogs into bite size pieces.
• In a saucepan melt the butter with 2 cups of oil.
• Let cool and skim milk solids from the top.
• Pour into fondue pot and heat to 375.
• In a small mixing bowl, combine pancake mix with milk and egg.
• Beat with wire whisk until smooth.
• Dip meat bites into pancake batter.
• Let drain.
• Cook in fondue pot until heated and evenly browned.
• Coat with maple syrup.
