Recipe #5419 - Apple Cake With Caramel Sauce

Ingredients

• 2 c sugar
• 1 1/2 c vegetable oil
• 4 large eggs
• 1 t vanilla extract
• 2 1/2 c all-purpose flour
• 2 t baking powder
• 1 t ground cinnamon
• 1 t salt
• 3 c chopped peeled apples ( I use combination of green and red)
• 1 c chopped pecans or walnuts
