Ingredients

• 2 Italian sausages, casing removed
• 2 tablespoons Badia olive oil
• ½ cup yellow onion, chopped fine
• 3 garlic cloves, minced
• 2 beefsteak tomatoes, diced small
• ¼ tablespoon red crushed chilies
• 8 Badia dry basil leaves, ripped
• ½ cup grated pecorino Romano cheese
• ½ package whole wheat spaghetti, cooked according to package instructions
