- 3 tbsp golden caster sugar
- 4 tbsp Kahlua liqueur (or try rum, marsala or amaretto)
- 2 eggs, separated
- 250g mascarpone
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 200ml double cream
- good quality unsweetened cocoa powder, for dusting
- 1 packet savoiardi biscuits (175g)
- to decorate, good quality milk or dark chocolate
