Ingredients

• 2 slices of sourdough bread
• 1/8 tsp mustard powder
• 1/8 tsp thyme
• 1/8 tsp kosher salt
• 1 pound short pasta of your choice ((shells, macaroni, fusilli, penne, etc))
• 14 oz smoked gouda
• 3 tbsp unsalted butter
• 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
• 2-3/4 cups milk (divided)
• 1 tsp kosher salt
• 1/2 tsp onion powder
• 1/2 tsp garlic powder
• paprika (optional)
