• coarse sanding sugar for sprinkling
• 2½ cups all-purpose flour
• 1 tablespoon sugar
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup (8 oz.) cold unsalted butter, cut into ½” pieces
• ½ cup ice cold water
