• 1/2 cup butter, cubed
• 2 cups chopped onion
• 1-1/2 cups chopped celery
• 2 cups soft bread crumbs
• 2 large eggs, beaten
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon pepper
• 2 to 3 tablespoons sage
• 5 cups crumbled yellow cornbread
