Delia's Molasses Brandy Snap Baskets recipe. I think these are really fun to make, and the crunchy caramel flavour is the perfect partner to any ice cream – particularly Preserved Ginger Ice Cream....

- 2 oz (50 g) molasses sugar
- 1½ oz (40 g) golden syrup
- 2 oz (50 g) butter, plus a little extra for greasing
- 1½ oz (40 g) plain flour, sifted
- ¾ teaspoon ground ginger
