Ingredients
- 350 g luxury mincemeat (Waitrose best)
- 4 tbsp brandy
- zest of 1 large orange and 1 lemon
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 egg (beaten)
- milk
- 350 g soft flour
- 175 g unsalted butter
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 pinches grated nutmeg
- 3 tbsp caster sugar
- 1 large egg (lightly beaten)
- ½ egg shell of cold water (approx)
- brown sugar (to sprinkle)
