Ingredients

• 4 pound Roast, Beef, Chuck
• 1 cup Wine, Red
• 2 quarts Stock, Beef
• 1 quarts Water
• 2 cloves Garlic
• 2 eaches Onion, large, cut up
• 3 stalks Celery, chopped
• 1 can Tomatoes, Plumb 28 oz can
• 1/4 pound Barley, Pearl
• 2 pounds Mushrooms, mixed, sliced
• 1 each Carrot, sliced very thin
