- 45 ml (3 tbsp) custard powder
- 1 ml salt
- 4 eggs, separated
- 250 ml (1 cup) fresh cream
- 5 ml (1 tsp) vanilla essence
- 500 ml (2 cups) icing sugar, sifted
- 30 ml (2 tbsp) hot water
