Ingredients

• 1 small onion, chopped
• 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
• 10 ml (2 tsp) ground ginger
• 10 ml (2 tsp) coriander seeds
• 10 ml (2 tsp) cumin seeds
• 10 ml (2 tsp) turmeric
• 10 ml (2 tsp) garam masala
• 800 g lamb on the bone
• 1 g tin whole peel tomatoes
• 1 red chilli, seeded and chopped
• 1 bay leaf
• 450 g potatoes, cut into chunks
