Italian Olive Oil & Apple Cake - Trattore Farms

Ingredients

• 2 large Gala apples, cored, peeled and finely chopped
• Orange juice to soak apple in
• 3 cups organic all-purpose flour
• 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
• 1/2 tsp nutmeg
• 1 tsp aluminum-free baking powder
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup Trattore Farms Home Chef's Blend extra virgin olive oil ((swap for Three Orchard's Blend olive oil))
• 2 large eggs
• 2/3 semi-sweet chocolate chips ((you can also replace or add gold raisins, walnuts, pecans))
• Confectioner's sugar for dusting
