Ingredients

• 2 cups all purpose flour
• ½ tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp salt
• ½ tsp ground cinnamon
• ½ tsp ground nutmeg
• 3 fresh eggs
• 1 ½ cups sugar
• 2 cups pureed fresh persimmon with hull removed
• 1 ½ cups Scuppernong wine
• ¼ cup buttermilk
• 2 ½ tbsp melted unsalted butter
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
