Ingredients

• 1 pound smoked sausage, cut lengthwise and then into ¼" slices
• ½ cup chopped onion
• 1-2 cloves garlic, finely minced
• 2, 15-ounce cans black-eyed peas, drained
• 1, 14 ½-ounce can low-sodium chicken broth
• ½ teaspoon hot pepper sauce, or to taste
• 1, 10-ounce package frozen chopped collard greens, thawed
