• 1 onion, chopped
• 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
• 2 tbsp butter
• 1/2 cup (100 g) wild rice
• 5 cups (1.25 litres) chicken broth, preferably homemade
• 3/4 cup (110 g) carrot, diced
• 3/4 cups (120 g) potatoes, diced
• 1 cup (170 g) diced cooked chicken
