  • 3/4 - 1 pound(s) carrots, diced or sliced thin (approximately 1 cup)
  • 2 cup(s) chicken broth from water you cooked the chicken in
  • 1 stick(s) butter or margarine
  • 1/3 cup(s) self-rising flour
  • 1 can(s) cream of chicken soup (10.75 oz)
  • 1 can(s) English peas, small petite size (15 oz) (Lesueur brand peas is my favorite)
  • 1/2 cup(s) chopped onion or 1 tablespoon dried onion flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
