We have been staying with a Malay family. Every night they make a traditional Malay dessert, called Bengkang pandan cake. We had to share recipe!
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups coconut milk
- 3 cups pandan juice
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup sugar (1 cup if you like it very sweet)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 tablespoon green food coloring (optional)
- 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
