• 2 cups peeled and diced potatoes, up to 3 cups, Russet potatoes are best
• 1/2 medium yellow onions, peeled and diced
• 1 can evaporated milk
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp black pepper
• 2 tbsp generous, real butter
• 1 dash nutmeg
