- 4 tomatoes, peeled, seeded, coarsely chopped, large, ripe
- 2 tablespoons butter ( I added to cook differently)
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 1/4 cup water
- 16 ounces heavy cream, chilled (1 cup)
