- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon table salt
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 1/3 cups confectioners' sugar
- 7 ounces almond paste
- 2 egg whites
- 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup almond flour or very finely chopped almonds
- 1 large egg white (beaten (for egg wash))
- Turbinado sugar
- Sliced almonds
- 3 cups confectioners' sugar
- 8-10 tablespoons half and half
