- 1/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 Beaten Egg
- 1/2 Cup Evaporated Milk
- 3 1/2 – 3 3/4 Cups A.P. Flour
- 1/8 Cup Shortening
- Vegetable Oil for Frying
- Powdered Sugar in a shaker or sifter
