• 170 g (3/4 cup) butter, softened
• 105 g (3/4 cup) maple sugar
• 1 egg
• 5 ml (1 tsp ) pure vanilla extract
• 140 g (1 cup) whole-wheat flour
• 30 ml (2 tbsp) milk
• 205 g (1 1/2 cup) unbleached all-purpose flour
• 400 g (3 cups) frozen peaches, in quarters
• 125 ml (1/2 cup) maple syrup (preferably amber syrup, for its rich flavour)
• Fine maple sugar
