Bacon & Egg Pie Recipe

Ingredients

• 1 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
• 1/2 cup vegetable shortening (or 1/4 cup shortening and 1/4 cup butter for a richer crust)
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 3 or 4 T. cold water
• 1 10-inch pie plate Filling:
• 1 lb. of bacon, chopped into small pieces
• 1 medium onion, finely chopped
• Pepper, to taste
• 1 green onion, finely chopped
• 2 T. chopped parsley
• 2 large eggs
