Ingredients
- 2 pieces of bacon, cut into lardons
- ¼ c minced onion
- Kosher salt
- 3-4 garlic cloves, minced
- Splash of dry white wine
- One 28-ounce can crushed tomatoes (preferably Bianco DiNapoli)
- Pepper, to taste
- For French bread pizza: 1 baguette, halved lengthwise and cut into 6 equal pieces, mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup of Brightland Ardor Chili Olive Oil
- Add a splash of dry white wine to the pan and stir to loosen up any browned bits the bacon left behind. Let the liquid reduce for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste, adding a finishing drizzle of Ardor if you’d like more heat.
