Roni's Kale Laing – RoniB's Kitchen
Laing is spicy dish made from taro leaves and hails from the Bicol Region of the Philippines. This recipe uses kale instead of taro to make is easy to cook at home.
Ingredients
- cooking oil
- 5 cloves garlic minced
- 1 onion finely sliced
- 1 inch ginger cut in thin slices
- 1 bag of curly kale
- 5 tsp RoniB's Kitchen Extra Hot Garlic Chilli Paste (add more if desired)
- 1 can of coconut milk
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tbsp shrimp paste or fish sauce (substitute with salt)
- crushed black pepper to taste
