  • 150g butter, softened
  • 150g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 100g ground almonds
  • 150g all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom (optional)
  • 50ml cream
  • 2 tbsp rum or punch (or orange juice for a non-alcoholic version)
  • 50g breadcrumbs (or crushed gingerbread cookies)
