Ingredients

• 1 qt. beef stock or bouillon
• 1 onion, finely diced
• 2 carrots, shredded
• 2 turnips, peeled and diced
• 2 c. cabbage, shredded
• 1 small can tomatoes and juice
• salt and pepper
• little red wine vinegar
